Investment in decarbonisation is mandatory for the future

Pasi Eskelin started working in HP industry in 1998.
He worked for NIBE from 1998-2001, handling technical support and sales for the company. From 2001 to 2016, he worked with IVT/Bosch, as a technical trainer, as well as a real estate HP sales manager, an area sales manager and an HP product manager. Additionally, Pasi Eskelin had been doing HP installer certification (EU-Cert) trainings in Finland. From 2016 onwards, he has been working as a Sales Director for St1 Lähienergia Oy.
St1’s clean energy solution won the Finnish Clean Energy Solution Competition for 2017.
His view is that the importance of cities for decarbonisation is undeniable.
In the future, cities are increasingly inhabiting people and urban energy consumption represents the vast majority of all energy consumption.
On the other hand, cities can use a variety of technologies to achieve high carbon dioxide savings.
Investment in decarbonisation is mandatory for the future, and in the long term, it is also economically viable.
It is, therefore, important to create operating models, services and products that will make it easier for urban residents and businesses to switch to using renewable energy.
