Polish Karol Galek
Member of Slovak ParliamentKarol Galek is a Slovak energy expert and politician. From 2020 to 2023, he served as State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. From 2016 to 2020, he was a Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic for the SaS party, of which he has been a member since its foundation. He studied geology at Comenius University and received an MSc. degree from the Technische Universität Wien in the field of Renewable Energy. Professionally, he focused on solar energy projects and co-founded the Slovak Photovoltaic Industry Association. In politics, he held the position of team leader for energy and has long been focused on the development of renewable energy sources. He is currently a Member of Parliament for SaS.
