Site visit
Exploring Krakow’s history and innovation

As part of the conference, attendees joined a guided site visit to the National Archives of Krakow, led by Jakub Koczorowski, Vice-President of PORT PC. This environmentally friendly and energy-independent building reflects 140 years of history while showcasing modern sustainability.

Powered by a ground source heat pump, the building draws energy from hundreds of metres of underground trenches, demonstrating how the past and future of energy innovation can coexist.
